“Making our lives richer through God’s Word and Some Rich Sense.”
Hi, I’m Rich.
I’ve experienced the sorrows and joys of life. The joys are better! During my adult life I’ve held 3 “jobs”, that’s it. Route sales, factory work and Christian ministry. Sales, factory work and church ministry positions merged into greater relational understanding for me of people’s attitude toward God. I use scripture to bring encouragement, vision and direction to the readers of this blog. This is, rich sense.
26 Years of Christian Ministry Service
Serving on staff for 24 years with Pastor Sam Smucker of Worship Center , a church in Lancaster, PA, gave me the immense privilege of learning how to serve. I was co-leader of the church’s small group ministry and oversaw the Worship Center Minister’s Network. The commitment to Christian ministry has taken my wife and me to many nations of the world. Before coming on staff at WC we served as pastors of Victorious Faith Fellowship in Forest Hill, Md.
Commands I Live By.
Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 22: 37-40
In ministry I have recognized that everything, yes, EVERYTHING, hangs on my honest love and loyalty to my Savior and caring for others. I am to show that devotion to Jesus Christ, my wife, my family, friends and you my neighbors of the world. Everyone longs for encouragement, some may need their vision sharpened and others crave for direction in life and ministry.
May 2013, I retired from my staff position at Worship Center. Both my wife and I are in our seventies. Writing the Richsense.org blog, fulfilling some speaking engagements, church attendance, small group activities, mentoring ministers and social gatherings keep us attached to this ever changing world we live in.
I sincerely appreciate each comment given on my post.
